April 9, girls varsity tennis prevailed over both South Christian and
Unity Christian at the annual Cookie Invitational, hosted by South
Christian. For the first time in many years EK girls tennis was able to
take home the coveted “Cookie Trophy”.
In a highly spirited, but competitive atmosphere, EK prevailed with 11
pts., South Christian 7, and Unity Christian 6.
Flight Champion seniors, Summer Brown (one singles), and Abby Bouma (two
singles) began their fourth and final varsity season with great wins.
Freshman, Lisa Ha (three singles), starts her first varsity season with
great wins as well. Third doubles, Whitney Tran and Hanna Duong also won
their flight and walked away as champions.
Off to a great start Lady Falcons! Let’s keep the momentum going!
